About the Position – Junior CRO | Marketing Systems Engineer

Are you passionate about marketing strategy, data analysis, or UX design theory? As a Junior CRO | Marketing Systems Engineer at ATRIUM Digital, you will embark on an exhilarating journey in our Promotions Department. This role offers an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of digital marketing, combining the strategic focus of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) with the technical prowess of a Marketing Systems Engineer.

In this entry-level position, you’ll be at the forefront of optimizing conversion funnels and contributing to the development of bespoke marketing engines for our diverse range of clients. You’ll play a crucial role in constructing, monitoring, and evolving Digital Marketing Systems and Data Models, driving measurable impact through innovative, data-centric strategies and seamless system implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Focus:

  • Assist in conducting audits and analyses of client websites and digital platforms to identify conversion bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
  • Support the development of CRO strategies based on data-driven insights and user behaviour analysis.
  • Help design and execute A/B tests, multivariate tests, and other experimentation methodologies to optimize conversion rates and user interactions.
  • Monitor test performance, analyze results, and assist in iterating strategies based on findings.
  • Collaborate with Designers and Developers to implement enhancements that improve user engagement, navigation flow, and overall usability.
  • Conduct heuristic evaluations and usability tests to identify UX issues and propose solutions.
  • Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HotJar, HubSpot, Platform Specific Ad tools, etc.) to track, measure, and report on KPIs.
  • Generate actionable recommendations through data analysis, highlighting opportunities for performance optimization.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Assist in communicating findings, implementation strategies, progress, and results to clients.

Marketing Systems Engineer (MSE) Focus:

  • Work with the Strategy Director to analyze clients and businesses for key insights and recommended digital marketing model changes.
  • Assist in producing a workable and measurable digital marketing data model representing each client’s digital marketing system.
  • Help prepare dashboards and spreadsheets for monitoring model performance changes over time.
  • Conduct regular model analysis and audits to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate internally with other specialists to identify areas for improvement based on data/model analysis.
  • Perform competitive analysis and marketing research to identify potential improvements for each client.
  • Help prepare detailed quarterly reports with data collected from social media tools, analytics software, and CRMs, including well-written insights for presentation to clients.
  • Collaborate with other agency departments to coordinate and improve cross-channel marketing strategies, including advertising, social media, content marketing, SEO, web, and brand strategy.
  • Engage in in-person and video presentations with clients to review performance and present evolving strategies.
  • Provide proactive guidance and insights on potential improvements or opportunities to the Strategy Director.
  • Assist in outlining scope and strategy changes for clients to approve and implement into their existing marketing mix and services contract with ATRIUM.
  • Success will be measured by increased client retention rates and incremental client performance KPI growth.

Requirements

The Junior CRO | Marketing Systems Engineer position is ideal for someone passionate about data and understanding how digital marketing drives business growth. You may be an excellent fit for this position if you have some experience in marketing strategy or campaign performance measurement, a background in UX design, digital marketing, data/analytics, or psychology, and/or have worked within digital marketing teams or agencies in the past.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Up to 1 year of experience in a marketing role or relevant internships.
  • Basic understanding of key digital marketing metrics: social media, Google Analytics, CRM software, and ad networks.
  • A passion for UX principles, user-centred design methodologies, and their application to CRO initiatives.
  • Familiarity with industry software (Analytics, Cloud Campaign, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Comfortable with basic data analysis and deriving actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Formal education in Business (BBA, BComm), UX Design, Data Sciences/Analytics, or related fields.
